Way too many 'f's, but I had faith that this had to be a gold quote.

abra on 2014-10-14 14:24:35
All those Fs. Kind of surprising.

montyb on 2014-11-12 08:38:26
I use a lot of "F" words when I play golf.

okole maluna!

Okay this thread was bound to go meta eventually - I was delighted to see this from Sippy Gurl in the above post! It's a toast that you hear in the Hawaiian islands all the time, and it means something like "your a** to the moon!" Great way to say "bottoms up," don't you think??

When I solved the quote for the stars and bansai's campiness, I was impressed by sippygurl's okole maluna! I left a follow up comment that it was nice to see that she knew Hawaiian.

This isn't right, this isn't even wrong. "
Wolfgang Pauli

montyb on 2012-06-06 00:32:49
Pauli is referring to any hypothesis that cannot be falsified by experiment. Usually he applied it to various pseudosciences.

Allen on 2013-05-01 14:28:01
I used to be a pseudoscientist, but so many pseudos were harmed during testing that I gave it up.

abra on 2015-01-19 11:23:06
Funny! Allen.

I wonder if he said this in a post-game press conference after a loss.

Nah, it comes from the booklet 10 Easy Steps for Selling Your House. JK

Haha, abra!
