New Quotes [And why not even more!]
Stephen Admin, thanks for sending us a quornuquopia of new quotes! I love them even if they are authored by obscure controversial figures and I'm hoping for even more. Topping my list of the obscure controversial is Addison Mizner, whose architectural grotesquerie is responsible for the plethora of pink/green structures environing inhabitants of Palm Beach County. I hope maradnu is far enough removed from his influence on the west coast of our peninsula. Thank you once again for scraping the bottom of the peanut butter jar of notable quotations! Bring them on! Whether Adolph Hitler, Sun Tzu, Niccolo di Machiavelli, the Marquis de Sade, Ezra Pound or Gilbert Chesterton [shudder], keep them coming. We will continue to solve! Render unto us tens of thousands more!

I echo bansai's sentiments...the new quotes are great, and it's a good thing because I was beginning to memorize many of the old ones.  Here's to Arthur Stringer, Brenda Ueland, Allan K. Addison Mizner
He's an architect who is responsible for the style of lots of buildings here in Palm Beach County. In some cases, this may mean a color scheme of pale green and pink stucco [brrrr!] But some people think he's great.

Little town I live in
Flutefish, some people might think this is a breathtaking picture (and I admit the flora are quite scenic), but to me this pink/turquoise color scheme just doesn't cut it. Perhaps it seems an exotic change of pace to others in this forum, but after 23 years here in the subtropics I am jaded. I welcome all attacks on this statement.
