False, but I ended up with three. Anyone know a good no-kill shelter? Or want an extremely friendly 15 lb ball of orange fur?
The person below me knows how to fix a dripping faucet.

True. I can fix several different types of faucets or replace the darned thing if it's too far gone.

False... errr True... wellll, maybe. How does one know until its been bounced off other people? Okay, here's the plot line... It's September 11, 2001 and a woman leaves home for work (she works in one of the WTC towers), and her husband leaves for his job (he works somewhere else in NYC). Only the wife doesn't go to work. She has given her employer a legitimate reason for not being there but has actually run off to some hotel to have an affair. The towers are hit, and the husband is watching all of this on CNN from an office television where he works. Before the towers collapse he rushes to the WTC to try and get to his wife. The towers collapse, he's not killed, but is seriously injured, rescued, rushed to a hospital, and has head injuries leaving him in a coma. The wife makes her way home from the hotel (now aware of what has happened at the place she was supposed to be working), and is trying to reach her husband by cell phone to let him know she's okay. A day passes, then 2, and finally after inquiries are made, realizes what has happened to her husband. She comes to realize that everyone she worked with on a daily basis has died, and she begins the process of nursing her husband back to health. She has to have some explanation as to why she wasn't at work, has the guilt to deal with, has the illegitmate lover to deal with... and then there's the blackmailer that nobody counted on....Okay, how'd I do for a screenplay idea?

True. I have my favorite (what seem to be mini-series) that I tune into when they're in season. They include Men of a Certain Age, Shameless, Sons of Anarchy (in season now), the game show [sort of ] The Marriage Ref, and maybe a few others. Looking back on the previous pages... Widow Maker, yes, I have completed a marathon (though a long time ago). My time was 3:22:28. No longer do any distance running (the loss of one leg since my running days may very well have something to do with that, along with middle-age, etc.).
The person responding next enjoys snorkeling in the Caribbean. |
