Kaleidoscopic images of the choices he had tumbled through the dreadful dragons mind. He was fraught with anguish over whether to elect Siana, Ethel, or Opal as the main focus of his will, and thereby prevent Greenleaf from accomplishing his task.

Keeping his eyes firmly fixed on Greenleaf and Siana, and feeling the wearing of time on his ancient body, the dark lord, felt something he had never felt before something warm instead of a cold black hatred, or evil; he felt that maybe the idol wasnt worth a battle, but was meant to be continued on through the love of the two mortals before him.

Mayhaps this new feeling of warmness was due to Opal's intervention....or could it possibly be the TRUE LOVE he felt developing between Siana and Greenleaf?
As the old dragon pondered this turn of events, Ethel (who was the eldest and first-born) had returned to the garden where Greenleaf and Siana still sat by the fountain, and had shimmered back into her original form.
