Default the escape key!
i have been on this site for what about 3 months now, and i JUST found out that the escape key resets all the letters. actually, i didn't find it out on my own, my cat Monty showed me, via demonstration...!

Question Curiouser and curiouser
I'm hitting my escape key, but it's not clearing my letters. This escape trick doesn't seem to work for me. And I come from the same town as Harry Houdini.

If you re-enable auto cursor it might work then? However, I just tried it and it works with or without...maybe your escape key is broken???
