Bring back on old feature?

Stephen, I'm really enjoying the changes to the site. But can you bring back one of the old features? It used to be that when you overlooked a letter, a dialog box would remind you and the blank letter would receive the focus.

Now, the screen changes and you have to click on a link to go back. You sometimes need to click 3 or 4 times, but then you also have to wait while the whole puzzle is repainted on the screen. It feels like it takes forever.

Any chance of getting the old way back?

Stephen, I don't know how many times I've hit return when I've one letter remaining to be filled. And then, after I've gone back to fill it in, it always turns out that I'm one second behind peaceandluv87's record time. D'oh! If you could fix this, we would all be very grateful.

I've put this at the top of my to-do list. The reason I removed the old script was that it only worked in certain browsers, due to some changes in the way Internet Explorer handled its security settings.

I've got some new scripts I can play around with that should do the job.
