Hello, I'm new! Does anyone have any tidbits of advice?

Hey there, I'm new to cryptograms, and am starting to become engrossed in trying to solve them. I have to admit that before becoming a member, I "cheated" and used the "hint me" button haha.

I read that the letter E usually occurs in the most frequency in a cryptogram, would the same be true for A, O, I, and U?

Hi Nite:

You're right about A, I, and O, but U is not one of the most used. Try T and S instead. There's a thread here that has lots of good tips. Check out this link.
