According to just a tad of Googling, the quote is from Mary Frances Berry.
I am guessing "Billy" is who posted it to quoteworld.org, where it is attributed to him. worldofquotes.com and thinkexist.com and a number of other sites attribute it to Mary Frances Berry. |

Since Mary Frances Berry seems to be more active and community-minded, I tend to think she must have said that quote. It doesn't seem likely it was fitness guru, Billy Banks. (Tae Bo)

I just had this quote:
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together -Carl Zwanzig Who the heck is Carl Zwanzig? All I could find in a google search is a picture gallery from somebody's party. |

Laura, anyone who doesn't even have their own Wikipedia entry must be so obscure as to be unworthy of our recognition. (Though I gotta admit that's a damn good quote about duct tape) However, after a little web searching, the best answer I can come up with is that Carl Zwanzig's highest claim to fame is that he was a vocalist and autoharpist for a band called "Clam Chowder." They are known for their traditional, folk and filk, and have made a number of recordings on an obscure label known as "Bivalve Records." As practitioners of filk, they have naturally played at science fiction conventions.
