Hello, fellow solvers:
I am interested in improving my overall rank. I notice that many people are ahead of me in rank have a solving percentage much less than my own. I am willing (I think) to sacrifice my solving percentage in order to improve my overall rank (I was never interested in this til just lately). How do you choose which puzzles to solve? I know there is a strategy to this! My solve times are not great, but still, I would like to have the highest possible overall rank. TIA!

"Ranking" as you mention it, is purely about points. The more quotes you solve, the more points you get, and the higher your rank.
If you no longer care about your percentage solved, set yourself a maximum time you'll spend on a quote. Maybe it's 2 minutes, maybe 5. That's the best way to get the highest number of points per play time. Hope this is the advice you want.
