Default best excuses for not solving a puzzle

I can't say my dog ate my homework, but here is my list of excuses
1. my cat stepped on the keyboard and hit enter, causing multiple puzzles
2. the program shut down
3. my internet server shut down ,in the middle of a puzzle, and was down for several days
4. absolutely had to leave for work, and couldn't get back in time
5.my computer crashed
6. got busy doing something else and forgot to come back and finish a puzzle
7. double clicked a puzzle( same as number 1, but my fault, not the cat's)
8. electric power outage
9. got lazy, and just didn't try
10. flat out got stumped
