Internet explorer - especially older versions of it that haven't been updated in a while - tend to be a bit buggy. You may want to try another browser like Firefox just to see if it improves the situation for you. Firefox is available for free download at
www.getfirefox.com - I use it myself. (It also runs faster than Internet Explorer).
Anyway that might be worth a shot - or you may want to see if your Internet Explorer browser needs to be updated/upgraded to a more recent version.
