And as a rookie here, thanks for sharing your wisdom.

May your individual "higher power" keep watch over you and your loved ones this holiday season and always.

(Can't you tell I've done a lot of work with a lot of sensitive PC'ers?? ;) )

Merry Christmas and all the best for 2013. I look forward to playing with you guys/gals a lot in the next year!!

It's Christmas Eve. Time to go home and watch Peter Billingsley be 10 or 12 years old again for a couple of hours. Merry Christmas everyone, and may 2013 be filled with health and happiness to all of you.

According to NORAD, Santa was last seen in Mauritania.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I'm with Barnabas. That film takes me back to when I was the same age and Mom took us to see the magic windows at the Wolf & Dessauer store.

The W&D building is gone now. The Santa and the giant wreath were found in a warehouse some years ago and rerfurbished. Now they hang on other buildings around town. Last year all the incandescent lights were replaced with LEDs. Some of the magic returns every year.

remembering

it looks like wolf and dessauer was fabulous!

i have fond memories of the great christmas windows at the diamond dept. store in charleston, wv, where i grew up---i was fascinated by all the moving displays. i'm sure a much smaller scale than wolf and dessauer, but delightful, nevertheless!
