More Quotes from Women, Please

I started capturing quotes that I like and putting them on my blog. After a while, I have noticed that there are far more quotes by men than women. I really want to hear what women through history have to say. I love this site. I'm quite addicted to it, actually. It would be nice to solve pithy sayings from more of my gender-mates.

I concur, but I am afraid the oppression of women throughout the ages may limit the quantity available. :(

And we could all tell Stephen which women we would like to see added to this site who have not been represented heretofore.
