Players sometimes offer tips in the quote comments about authors' frequently used words. Here's a thread for collecting those tips in one place.

My starter list:

Les Brown: You/your, Goal

Horace Mann: Education

Will Durant: Civilization

Gene Perret: Grandchildren

Jack Handey: "I think" are often the first words.

If it's a quote by Robert Schuller the word(s) "possibility" or "impossibility" can almost always be found somewhere in the quote.

William Shakespeare: doth, hath

Hath I remembered this before retiring a couple nights ago, my speed for this month would be improved by 40%. Haply, I arose in the morning, instantly saw the word "hath," and solved ye olde cryptogram forthwith. Better late than never (methinks).

If it's a coach or baseball manager, look for the name of their sport ("Football," "baseball," etc).

For Benjamin Franklin, look out for "thee" and "thou."
